Stragedy

Dance performance, 2008; Perfomance installation, 2009.

"Stragedy" is a dance performance that recalls the physical memory of the military strategy of house searching.
In use of choreography it dislocates the physical material and reframes it on stage.
This reframing allows the spectator to witness a complexity that normally would be simplified on their TV screen, while doing so it questions the role of stage, choreography and it's documentary qualities.
